So you've done the easy part, you've invited all your best buds over for the Big Game. Now for the hard part, deciding what to feed those crazy hooligans. Maybe you got off scott free and don't have to host but still need to bring along a contribution to the football feeding frenzy. We've got your hail mary right here.
We've put together a list of five of our barbecue recipes for your Super Bowl menu that will make you the franchise quarterback of your Super Bowl party. Let us set you up with that touchdown dish.Â
1. Jerk Chicken Wings
What's a Super Bowl party (or football game for that matter) without some good ol' chicken wings? Amiright? These beauties are bringing the heat. Quick, easy and full of flavour!Â
 2. Easy Grilled Potato Skins
Trade in your pig skin for some potato skins. Bacon, cheese, potatoes, sour cream & chives. We were in the game at bacon... because let's face it... who doesn't like bacon. Okay, okay, maybe vegetarians. I'm certain they'd like it if they would just try it. Finger foods are fantastic for sporting events. They leave the other hand free for beer consumption.Â
3. Nacho PizzaÂ
Okay, fine, we'll share our pizza. We've combined two game day foods into one magical super food. No, not like goji berries, kale or whatever the new fad is. We're talking about pizza and nachos - together! Probably the best lovechild that ever existed, no?
4. Barbecue Roasted Jalapeno Poppers
Sure to get your gridiron gang fired up these jalapeno poppers are sure to hit the spot. The heat of the jalapeno gives you a quick punch before the smooth creaminess of the cheese comes to the rescue. Add in the salty goodness of prosciutto and you're in it to win it with this recipe. You'll be the fan favourite.
If you're looking for a game changer to take this recipe to the next level, replace the cheese with artichoke and asiago dip from the local grocer (or you know, you can make one from scratch if you really want).
5. BrisketÂ
This one takes a little longer (okay, maybe a lot longer) than the others to prepare but it will be worth it in the end. A nice warm brisket sandwich is the perfect half time meal to power you through the last half. Don't have a smoker? Me thinks I know where you can get one. Realistically though, it can be made on any barbecue. The added charcoal flavour is just a performance enhancer.
