Your hands are two of the greatest grilling tools on the planet. Yes, you read that right. No need to fetch your spectacles.  

Using your hands to combine foods, apply rubs and coat food in marinades is the bees knees. Doing so lets us feel the lumps and bumps in a rub and find the bits of food that are still 'naked'. 

The next time you're preparing fish or salmon, run your hands along the fish to check for any small bones that may not be visible to the naked eye. 

They are also handy for determining doneness for fish, poultry and meat. 

It might be messy, (that's actually half the fun) but get in there with your hands and get cooking!
