As the Spring weather heats up, we have organized the types of parts below and included a category link within each title to save you time finding what you need to get your barbecue back up to top shape quickly. As always, we are here to help. If you have questions, drop into your nearest Canadian Barbecues Galore store.

COOKING GRATES:

“Either in a fray or in two, your grilling will fare better, when your grates will not harm you.” Cooking Grates must to be in good order, without which grilling on your barbecue could be harmful to your health.

BURNERS:

“Unlike a throw away phone, you will want to commit to your barbecue and operating burners will keep them running long-term.”  When burners have cracks or blockage over metal, it will affect the performance of the unit.  It is a good idea to clean blocked ports on a burner and replace cracked or clogged burners.

HEAT DIFFUSION PLATES:

“To retain that flare for your barbecue, heat diffusion plates must be able to radiate heat out evenly.”  Heat diffusion plates are designed to not only deflect grease from causing flare ups, but more importantly they are there to help infuse heat back up, adding moisture and flavour.

IGNITION SYSTEMS:

“A proper working ignition system will facilitate that craving to grill, making your barbecue an indispensable machine.” Igniting your barbecue the old-fashioned way, is less than desirable.  Despite, that archaic match chain, no one so close to their barbecue, that they want the feel the heat flash in their face.

HOSE ASSEMBLY:

“No one likes it when a gas is emitted when and where it should not be.” That distinct odour you smell could be more than just the neighborhood skunk out and about.  It could be your barbecue.  A barbecue hose should be checked for cracks and leaks regularly, as they could make the barbecue dangerous to use.  The safer bet is to replace a hose, if it is questionable.

Yes, we have a wide selection of RV Propane Hoses and Fittings too.

REGULATORS:

“No to little gas can be an issue, but too much gas is just as distended.” Do not be too hasty to throw away your barbecue, sometimes it is just the regulator causing it to perform improperly.  Check that the tank's safety feature was not accidentally engaged first, but if all else fails, a new regulator might be what you need.

KNOBS:

“A knob's rotation is essential for controlling the valves, but they should never come to a full revolution.”  Besides the power-driven electric grills.  A knob should rotate counter clock-wise from 12 on the control panel, down to 5-3.  If it fails to turn the valve, it probably has a crack or is misshapen and new knobs are necessary to run your barbecue.

TEMPERATURE GAUGE:

“A grill will always appreciate knowing how hot they are.  And, so will you!”  Whether 200 Fahrenheit or 400 Fahrenheit, heat feels the same.  A proper working temperature gauge will help you know when to toss that steak on the grill.

DRIP PAN / GREASE TRAY:

“It is our belief that a holey drip pan, is not something you can put your faith in.”  A rusted out or full of holes drip pan/ grease tray, can be dangerous.  Besides the mess that can result from it breaking apart, a drip pan is a vital part of your barbecue.  Collecting the hot grease, preventing damage on the barbecue elsewhere.

CASTERS AND WHEELS:

“Not just for moving up to in-place.  Casters and wheels support the barbecue's stature, even still.”  When a caster or wheel is broken, it is not only for the barbecue's movement, it is also a structural piece in the alignment, stability and height of the grill.
