Shipping Policy

Barbecues Galore only ships to Canadian addresses except for Northwest Territories, Yukon & Nunavut. (It’s not that we don’t like those folks, it’s just, man, it’s pricey to get stuff sent up there.).

Orders will be processed and shipped as soon as we can get to it. Usually 24-72 hours for all in-stock products. If a product is out of stock, Barbecues Galore will send an email within 24-72 hours to notify you of estimated date of shipment.

Orders will be shipped Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 5:00pm. Shipments may take 1-10 days to arrive depending on date shipped and distance from supplying warehouse. What can we say – it’s a big country. Once the order has shipped, an email will be sent with the tracking number(s).

Some shipments may be sent in multiple pieces due to size or weight of items and as a result may arrive at different times or via different carriers.

Orders with a “Ship To” address that differs from the “Bill To” address can expect a phone call to authenticate credit card/payment details. Credit card fraud is alive and well in Canada – we’re trying our best to avoid it.

Large items ordered online are shipped via common carrier and will be delivered to your curbside, in a box, unassembled. If you order a large, heavy item online, have a plan for how to handle it when the shipping elves show up in front of your house.

Barbecues Galore no longer ships large items to the province of Quebec. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Buy Online, Pick Up In Store

Orders will be processed and made available for pickup within 24-72 hours for all in-stock items. If an item is out of stock Barbecues Galore will send an email within 24-72 hours to notify you of estimated date of arrival.

No one likes unexpected guests, please do not come pick up your order without an invitation. One of our team members will 'give you a ring' when your order is ready for pick up. You will also receive an email notifying you.

When picking up the order, you will be asked to show a piece of government issued photo I.D. If someone other than you is picking up the order, you will need to inform us in writing either in the order comments or by replying to the order confirmation email.

Parcel Shipping

Despite, our website showing UPS as the shipping method at checkout, we use a variety of carriers.

More often than not, it is Canada Post, Purolator or Fedex for parcels and portable barbecues. 

Special Order Items

Don't get us wrong, we have tons of product in our stores and warehouses. That said, there are a few items that we just a) don't have the room for, b) their a little more unique or c) we only bring them in when we get an order for them. 

The turnaround time on these items vary by supplier. If you place an order for a Special Order Item, we will contact you within the next business day to give you an ETA for the item. 

Super special items, like our custom branding irons cannot be returned. The odds of another customer wanting an F+Z in a heart are very slim. The Leafs have a better chance at winning the Cup than we do of finding a new home for that branding iron. 

Gift Cards

We offer two types of gift cards:

In Store Use

These gift cards are plastic and can be used in any of our four retail stores in Calgary, Burlington or Oakville. These get processed through merchant machines so they can't be used online. 

In Store Gift Cards can be made available for pick up in store or sent via Canada Post. If you would like to receive it sooner, and have it tracked, then we can send it via Purolator for a small fee. 

Online Use

These gift cards are of the virtual variety. When you purchase these, an email is automatically sent to the email address provided with the digital gift card code. This number gets entered in the payment portion of the checkout process. 

You can forward the email to the recipient or print it out and give it to them. These must be redeemed online.


If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, or have received product that is defective or was shipped in error you may request a return by emailing us at: Barbecues Galore must authorize all return requests before product is returned or refund will not be processed.

Please provide your order information and a brief explanation of your reason for return.

Items returned within 30 days in perfect, unused condition, including all manuals and packaging materials, will be refunded for the amount of the product only. Shipping fees will not be refunded.

If product is returned used, in poor condition or there are items missing, Barbecues Galore reserves the right to refuse the return or deduct the value of the missing parts.

Freight charges for returns will be the responsibility of the customer, unless product was shipped to you defective or in error. If product was received defective or damaged, it can be returned for full refund or exchange for the same product.

Free Shipping Over $900

All orders over $899.98 ship for free, with the exception of Nunavut, Yukon and Northwest Territories. 

Your order will arrive, unassembled, in its packaging, via an LTL courier who will deliver to your curbside. These orders require a signature, so the courier company will call ahead and make an appointment to make sure you are home. 

NOTE: This is not the same as our earth-shatteringly awesome Barbecue Butler Delivery Service.
