Maritime Street Tacos combines the boldness of our Street Shawarma dry rub with tender steak. The result is a yummy balance of sizzling spices and succulent textures, wrapped in a warm tortilla and topped with fresh mango salsa! Author: @ptays_kitchen

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lbs skirt steak (flank steak would work as well)
- Maritime Madness Frig That’s Good rub
- Mini flour tortilla
- 1 cup ripe mango (approx. 2 mangos), diced
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 2 tbsp red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
DIRECTIONS:
- Season your steak generously with Maritime Madness Street Shawarma Rub. Let marinate for up to 24 hours.
- Fire up your grill on high heat. Propane works but charcoal will really kick these flavours up.
- Get your steak on the hot grill and flip as often as you feel necessary. The goal is to build a crust without exceeding your desired doneness. I prefer medium rare for this cut. approx. 3-4 minutes per side. (Do not turn off the grill after you pull the steak.)
- After your steak has rested for 5-10 minutes you need to cube it up. Approx 3/4" or 2cm cubes.
- Assemble a quick and easy Mango Salsa by combining the mango, cucumber, red onion and lime juice. Season to taste with salt.
- With your grill that is still hot, put your tortillas on and flip them. No more than 30 seconds each side.
- It's time to assemble your Maritime Street Tacos and dig in. If you are looking to kick the heat up, your favourite Maritime Madness Hot Sauce will work perfectly.
