Chef Profile - Meet Chef Bradley Yip

In 2025, Chef Bradley is collaborating with Barbecues Galore to bring our BBQ’n Across Canada recipe series to another level and inspire our Hotline newsletter subscribers with a true fresh food perspective.

Meet Chef Bradley Yip, an Ottawa-born chef whose love of food was sparked by the diverse cuisines he encountered during his childhood in West Africa. Bradley's passion for culinary arts led him on a journey to pursue a degree at York University, a modeling career in London, and to study Ayurvedic cuisine in India.

Inspired by these experiences, Bradley returned to Canada and enrolled in George Brown College’s Culinary Management program, where he trained under celebrated Chefs John Higgins and Lorenzo Loseto. Today, Bradley is an Executive Corporate Chef for major events across Canada and the United States, including the “Ride to Conquer Cancer” and Diner en Blanc.

Bradley's latest venture is CuisineSavant, where he combines his love for travel and cooking to create unique culinary experiences for private clients. He has cooked for Forbes Top 50 and Hollywood A-listers in locations around the world; including LA, the Hamptons, Aspen, Tokyo, the Bahamas, and even the Arctic.

When Bradley is not traveling, he calls Muskoka, Ontario home where he tends an organic garden to bring fresh, farm-to-table Canadian ingredients to each grilled dish. Bradley's passion for food is evident in every recipe he creates, and he continues to push the boundaries of culinary excellence with CuisineSavant.
