SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS:
4 bone-in pork chops, at least 1” thick
Hog Waller Pork & Rib Rub
Oil of your choice
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Assemble your ingredients and preheat your grill to medium-high.
STEP 2: While the grill is heating, cut off any excess fat from the chops. No one wants a chop full of grizzle. NO ONE.
STEP 3: Now, take those beauties and drizzle them with oil. Flip ‘em around, rub the oil into them; get in there real good.
STEP 4: Season the greased-up chops with the Hog Waller Pork & Rib Rub. Be generous here; season, flip, rub, and repeat.
STEP 5: When the grill is hot, give it a good cleaning. Next, place the pork on that sparkling clean grate, and then turn the heat down to medium. Close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
STEP 6: Flip the chops and continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the thickest chop reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
STEP 7: Remove the pork from the grill and tent it with foil; let it rest for about five minutes. Do not skip this step, it keeps the chops juicy as heck.
STEP 8: And, as our good friend and mentor, Porky the Pig says, that’s all, folks!
