The age old question, when's the best time to have a fireplace installation booked for your home? We've all been there before, wondering when might be ideal. Trying to decide if you should put it off until next week, or even next month. Well, you probably guessed, since we're talking about this now, that the fall season (A.K.A RIGHT NOW) is the best time to book a fireplace installation.

There's a few reasons for this: the first is obviously the seasonality of it. We get it, summer time is hot; you're out enjoying your barbecue and patio furniture on endless amounts of sunny days. Nobody wants to think about keeping warm in the winter just yet. The only thing is, come those frosty Canadian winters, you don't want to be cutting a hole into your house and letting in a very cold draft during the installation. Hence, the fall is the perfect time. Most days you have your windows open and you're enjoying the nice breeze anyways, so having an installation happening doesn't have you bundling up in the meantime.

Secondly, we always recommend getting booked for an installation early because we get busy, and we mean really busy. The type of busy that's like see you in a month or two for your install, busy. Once the cold weather hits, everyone and their best friend wants a new install, so we get booked up very quickly. Trust us, it's not that we don't want to get you in sooner, there's just only so many hours in a day. So, we always recommend stopping in to beat the rush and get booked in early.
