We're starting off with the beautiful countries of Ukraine and Poland. Here's one of our favourite cheesy recipes that you need to try - White Cheddar Artichoke and Spinach Dip Recipe with Smoked Chicken
White Cheddar Artichoke and Spinach Dip Recipe with Smoked Chicken
Makes about 12 slices, feeds about 6 people.
Ingredients for White Cheddar Artichoke and Spinach Dip Recipe with Smoked Chicken:
- 2 8-ounce (227 grams) package cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tsps. minced fresh garlic
- 3 Tablespoons chopped green onion
- 4 tsps. Cluck & Squeal All Purpose BBQ Seasoning
- 4 tbsps. fresh lemon juice
- 2 cup freshly grated white cheddar cheese, divided into equal portions (1 cup mixed in dip & 1 for melting on top) substitute the mixed portion with Asiago
- 1/2 tsps. Cluck & Squeal Tasty Hot!
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach chopped
- 2 1/2 cup or one can artichoke hearts (packed in water) rinsed then chopped
- 1 pound of unseasoned smoked skinless boneless chicken thighs chopped to your liking.
Directions for White Cheddar Artichoke and Spinach Dip Recipe with Smoked Chicken:
STEP 1: Begin your culinary adventure by setting your smoker to 350°F.
STEP 2: Toss the cream cheese into a mixing bowl and beat it until it's smooth. Then, stir in your mayonnaise, sour cream, Cluck & Squeal All Purpose BBQ Seasoning, and Cluck & Squeal Tasty Hot!
STEP 3: Add 1 cup of your cheddar cheese, spinach, and artichoke. Then Mix it up until it's smooth again.
STEP 4: Then, with a spoon, stir in your smoked chicken and lemon juice until it's well combined.
STEP 5: Lastly, spread the mix into a 10" pie dish or a cast iron pan that's approximately the same size. Sprinkle your remaining cheddar cheese on top with the chopped green onions.
STEP 6: Smoke it for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling.
STEP 7: Once that's done, remove it from your smoker and let it cool off before slicing and serving.
