Valentine's Day Lobster Tails Recipe
Serves approx.: 2 to 4 | Prep Time: 30 min. | Grilling Time: 8 to 10 min.
Ingredients for Lobster Tails:
- 2 to 4 Lobster Tails
- Kreiser Barbecue High Tide Seafood Seasoning
- 2 Garlic Cloves (pressed)
- 1/2 Cup Butter (melted)
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed)
Directions for Lobster Tails:
STEP 1: To start, butterfly the lobster tails by slicing the top of the shell with butcher/poultry shears all the way to the base.
STEP 2: Pull the meat out gently, and place on top of the shell.
STEP 3: If it doesn't separate on its own, carefully score the top of the lobster flesh down the middle.
STEP 4: Melt your butter in a small microwave-safe bowl. Once the butter is liquefied, add in the KB High Tide Seafood Seasoning, pressed garlic, and lemon juice. Then, whisk to combine.
STEP 5: Now, brush the lobster tail with your butter mixture/glaze. Don't use all of it because we'll need some for the next step.
STEP 6: Cook the lobster tails with the meat side down for 5 minutes or until grill marks have shown. Flip over and grill for an additional 3 minutes or until the lobster turns opaque. During this process, brush the lobster with the butter mixture frequently so that the lobster doesn't dry out.
STEP 7: Last but not least, plate the lobster and drizzle the lobster with a little butter drizzled overtop. Enjoy!
