Steak Oscar Sauce Recipe
Serves approx.: 2 to 4 | Prep Time: 10 min. | Cook Time: 10 min.
Ingredients for Steak Oscar Topping:
- 1 Pkg. Béarnaise Sauce
- 1 Pkg. Mini Shrimp
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Kreiser Barbecue High Tide Seafood Seasoning
- Medium Scallops
- Kreiser Barbecue SPG+ Rub
- 4 Tbsps. Butter
- Lemon Slices (at least 2)
- Pepper (to taste)
Directions for Steak Oscar Topping:
STEP 1: Using a small sauce pan follow the directions as per package of the Béarnaise Sauce.
STEP 2: Then add some love to it by squeezing 2 lemon Slices into the sauce.
STEP 3: Season with Pepper to your personal liking.
STEP 4: Next, pre-heat a new pan over medium-high heat.
STEP 5: While that heats up, pat the shrimp dry.
STEP 6: Add 2 Tbsps. of your butter once the pan is hot and add in a splash of extra virgin olive oil.
STEP 7: Place the shrimp in your pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until they're nicely seared and add some Kreiser Barbecue High Tide Seafood Seasoning. Remember to not overcrowd your pan - there should be enough space for each shrimp to be laying flat on the pan.
STEP 8: Flip your shrimp and cook for another minute or so until the other side is seared as well.
STEP 9: If you'd like, squeeze a lemon slice in the pan.
STEP 10: Lastly, add the shrimp to the to Béarnaise Sauce you've already made. Then, taste it and add a tad of Kreiser Barbecue SPG+ Rub to your liking if needed.
