Ukrainian Style Pork Stew Recipe
Serves: Approx. 5 People | Prep Time: 15 min. | Grill Time: 2 h
Ingredients for Ukrainian Style Pork Stew Recipe:
- 1 pork shoulder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 2 tablespoons soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 large onions
- 2 tomatoes (peeled)
- 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
- Salt and pepper
Directions for Ukrainian Style Pork Stew Recipe:
STEP 1: Cut the pork into thick slices and let them soak up a blend of olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, and salt for no more than half an hour.
STEP 2: Smoke the marinated pork at 250°F (121°C) for around 2 hours until it reaches that melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
STEP 3: After the smoky magic, allow the pork to cool for a good 15 minutes.
STEP 4: Dice up the pork into bite-sized cubes and transfer them into a roasting pot.
STEP 5: Sprinkle a mix of roughly chopped onions, peppers, and tomatoes on top, adding a generous 2 tablespoons of grainy mustard for that extra kick.
STEP 6: Let the stew simmer uncovered at 350°F (177°C) for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, letting those flavours mingle and dance until the party hits your taste buds.
